ABOUT US!

FRSIS Objectives

The Fully Residential Schools International Symposium (FRSIS), established in 2011, is organised by the Ministry of Education Malaysia through the Fully Residential Schools Management Division, with support from the National Commission for UNESCO Malaysia.

FRSIS reflects the vision of Fully Residential Schools to nurture “World-Class Leaders” capable of thriving in an increasingly interconnected global environment. This international programme offers students valuable opportunities for cross-cultural engagement, allowing them to gain and apply knowledge meaningfully while developing a global perspective through critical thinking and creativity.

In addition, FRSIS plays a vital role in strengthening students’ leadership abilities by involving them directly in the planning and execution of international events. As members of the working committee, students acquire practical experience in programme management, contributing to effective coordination and successful implementation.

Overall, the symposium has made a significant impact in shaping individuals who demonstrate intellectual agility, competitiveness, and leadership excellence. By promoting adaptability, strategic thinking, and global awareness, FRSIS continues to cultivate transformational leaders who are well-prepared to make meaningful contributions on the global stage.
